Arrested Development: Social/Integrated Campaign Case Study
Two memories stand out above all others on this campaign. The first came during the presentation; I’d been up for like 65 of the last 72 hours cranking on decks only to find out that Mitch Hurwitz would be attending the actual meeting at Netflix. It’s not every day you get to pitch to the creator of one of your very favorite shows ever; it’s even rarer to actually make them laugh.
The second was a few months later after we’d been awarded it. It was super late and the team had been beating our heads against a wall trying to figure out how we could cap a phase. Suddenly, a bolt of inspiration hit me; I shot to my feet and screamed out “THEY LEAVE A NOTE” and walked out of the office for the night. (Theatrically, of course; I still needed a ride to the bus stop.)
